What this category covers
Tissue-repair research sits at the intersection of three measurable processes: angiogenesis, the sprouting of new capillaries into an injured area; fibroblast migration and proliferation, which brings the cells that rebuild structure; and collagen deposition, which restores tensile strength. Reference compounds in this category are studied for how they shift markers in one or more of those processes.

- How should material be stored on arrival?
